Green Circle Graphics (aka FundraisingArt.com) was founded by Gail Cleare and Kristin Vevon in 2002. We are two mothers living, working and raising our families in the hills of Western Massachusetts.
Gail Cleare grew up in Princeton, New Jersey, and is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College. She lives with her husband and three sons. She is a marketing consultant, graphic designer, Cairn Terrier breeder, and has 18 chickens who lay lovely blue and green eggs.
Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Kristin graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, and has a degree in Arts Management. She has run a marketing firm called Mind Over Media for 15 years, and currently is a photographer and publisher of a local magazine. She has one son, and an Aussie Shepherd.
We live next door to each other on a beautiful farm originally built in 1760, where we walk our dogs through the fields and orchards every day.
As moms, we became inceasingly concerned about the fundraising products our children brought home from school. Most items were unhealthy, useless or both! We wanted a better, healthier product. Of course, we thought there must be something better than boxes and boxes of candy and sweets.
For ten years, Gail created ads for a company that distributes art prints and posters. We thought, now that is a great idea for fundraising! Art is not only beautiful, healthy and inspirational, but it also retains its value for many years of enjoyment. It can also be sold from pictures in a catalog without misleading the customer about the size or quality of the product. It's even educational, and would be great for fundraisers that tie in with a school curriculum.
We searched through many thousands of pictures to find the most beautiful best-selling posters and prints in America. We'll be adding many more to our web site over the months to come.
