1) Set a tangible and achievable financial goal. Keep a running tally to inspire participants.
2) Set a time frame (2 weeks is recommended) with a beginning date and a firm deadline.
3) Order 1 catalogue for each member of your group who will be participating.
4) Meet with your group to distribute catalogues. Each person should make a written list of potential customers. Include family members, grandparents, friends and neighbors.
5) Make sure everyone in your group knows the reason for the fundraiser, the financial goal AND can communicate this to potential donors. For example: "Our group is raising $500 in order to buy art supplies and to finance our trip to the museum."
6) Practice showing the catalogue to potential customers with your group. SMILE, be polite and most importantly, be enthusiastic about your cause. Also rehearse filling out the order and framing forms.
7) Maintain close contact with your group to motivate and encourage them during the fundraising campaign.
8) The order form should be filled out completely with each sale.
9) All payments are collected at time of the order, in order to avoid problems.
10) IMPORTANT NOTE: Lots of additional art posters, prints and limited editions are available on our website. Just write the desired item number from the website onto your printed order form. Or, you can tell your customers to use the online order form and choose your Fundraiser's name as the group to benefit from the purchase. Either way, your group will receive 50%.
